Paddington Bear is making a long pilgrimage to visit every United Reformed church in Wessex Synod – and has started his journey at Fleet! Paddington was welcomed here on 19th November at morning service. He saw the baptism of Thea Harper McGhie and our Minister blessed him as he started his journey. He then helped serve coffee after morning service.
During his first few days at Fleet he has attended choir practice and our Monday house group, and also joined the 8th Fleet Brownies, where they were learning about disabilities. They also took him recycling in Fleet.
Over the next few months Paddington’s activities, with photos, will be recorded and logged on the Wessex Synod Children and Youth Facebook page.
