Fleet URC On-Line Resources

Welcome to Fleet URC On Line

We are delighted to be worshipping together in our church building once more.

For all services recorded while we were worshipping virtually with Beacon Hill URC, please see our previous YouTube channel: Fleet and Beacon Hill United Reformed Churches.

‘Faith and Life’ podcasts: During the lockdown our then Minister Revd Ruth Dillon recorded several short podcasts, where she reflected on our spiritual and emotional response to the situation.  These are hosted on the ‘Faith and Life Podcast’ page of this website.

Virtual Prayer Meetings and Nurture Group

We continue to hold monthly Prayer Meetings jointly with Beacon Hill URC on Zoom at 11 am on the second Monday of the month, and a monthly Nurture Group/Bible Study at 11 am on the third Monday of the month.  Please contact our church secretary for the dates of the next meetings.

Church Coffee Mornings

Our popular church coffee mornings have resumed meeting in the church hall, now on Wednesday mornings from 10 to 11.30 am.  During the month of August there are special arrangements to meet at local venues.  Please contact John Gibbons for more information.

You can find some helpful prayers to guide us through the uncertainty of the present time here: Prayers for Troubled Times.

If you feel in need of prayer for yourself or a loved one, a small group of people within our church are operating a Prayer Circle to support you. Please contact Margaret Tracey in the first instance on 01252 246195.

Prayers in a Pandemic : During the Coronavirus Pandemic the URC Daily Devotion team were writing weekly prayers to bring us comfort and spiritual support.  We were invited to use these devotions in our private prayers and prayer groups.  All these prayers have now been made available in a booklet, which can be downloaded here:
Prayers during the Pandemic

During the Covid-19 emergency, while some URC church buildings remain closed, the URC is providing a weekly Sunday service in a radio-style / podcast with hymns, readings, prayers and a sermon, provided by churches around the denomination.  The Sunday Service email arrives in your inbox around 9:45am on Sundays and contains a link to the service, an order of service, and words for you to sing along with the hymns.

The United Reformed Church has also compiled a list of resources and advice to support us through uncertain times. There is lots of helpful information via this link: Coronavirus Advice.
