Today’s coffee morning celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday was a fun morning enjoyed by all and raised £80 for the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. A big thank you to everyone who gave their support.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening on Friday when Saju Mathew gave us an Indian cookery lesson, demonstrating three typical South Indian dishes: Vegetable Madras Curry, Masala Fried Fish, and Onion Bhajis. Our annual quiz night is always very popular. A fish and chip supper was followed by an opportunity to challenge our brain cells in a general knowledge quiz. John Gibbons was quiz master for this fun and friendly evening, which was enjoyed by all.
