After much debate and several permit submissions to the local authorities, the Palani Well Project has finally been allowed to go ahead.
We are delighted that, with God’s help and grace, the local people now have access to a continuous supply of fresh water every minute of the day; there is no longer the need to walk a great distance upstream along the river for a container of invariably soiled water. Everyone, Christian, Hindu, or of no faith, is welcomed to the well.
