Our annual Autumn Craft Fair is renowned for the wide variety of quality goods on sale, as well as its friendly atmosphere and excellent home made refreshments. It is always well supported by our local community, and this year was no exception. This was a great opportunity to make a start on the Christmas shopping while enjoying a bacon butty, a bowl of delicious home made soup, or maybe a cup of tea and slice of cake.
It is our custom to donate the money raised from the table rental to a charity of our choice: this year Fair organiser Carol Rayner presented a cheque for £545 to Sue Hickey and Elizabeth Cook, representatives of the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.
