Our church premises underwent extensive modernisation in 2004 and a new hall, kitchen, meeting rooms, office and vestibule were added to the original church building. It was our intention from the outset that these should be used for the mutual benefit of the members of the church and the local community as much as possible.
The meeting rooms and hall have proved very popular and are in use every day. The excellent facilities are enjoyed by a number of local organisations covering a wide range of activities – for example: U3A, Slimming World, Fleet Pond Society, Farnborough Family History Group, and the Rotary Club of Fleet. Youth groups (Brownies, Rainbows, Drama, Toddlers) and Pilates, bridge and dance groups also meet on our premises throughout the week, in addition to the church’s own social events.
Free Wifi is available to all users (password on request), and there is a hearing loop.
The hall and kitchen can be hired for birthday and other family celebrations and the church holds a ‘drop in’ coffee morning between 10 and 11.30 am every Wednesday – the best value for money in Fleet!
If you would like to use the premises, then contact Margaret Armes on 01252 650994.
