Saturday 2nd November saw our Church buzzing with visitors to our sixth annual Gift and Craft Fair.
The day started with a welcome and prayer from our Minister Ruth Dillon, who welcomed our stall holders. Many of them we now consider as our friends, as they have attended year after year.
There were many different Craft Stalls, with many selections of crafts and gifts, which is always a joy to see.
The tea room was full of chatter and fellowship, with everyone enjoying homemade soup and cakes – and of course our famous bacon butties – all washed down with cups of coffee and tea!
The 8th Fleet Brownies held a ‘Guess the weight of the Christmas Cake’ competition, and also a Christmas quiz that kept everyone guessing. They very kindly donated all the proceeds to the Church.
We thank everyone who attended, and hope to see you at our next Craft and Gift Fair, on Saturday 1st March 2014.
