Our Autumn Craft Fair on Saturday was a resounding success, with over three hundred visitors on the day.
But it would not have been as successful without the ‘Team’ – and what a team!
The people who gave their time standing outside Sainsbury’s with leaflets; the Pilots who spent an evening going door to door; the lovely men who got the premises ready and put it all back together again; the people who donated cakes, jams, marmalade and bric-a-brac; all those who welcomed everyone and generally helped out on the day; and last but by not means least, the kitchen staff who as usual did a brilliant job with the delicious soup, bacon butties and refreshments, and made the tea room so pretty.
What can I say, but a big THANK YOU. Without those behind the scenes we would not have the wonderful reputation of being one of the best and most welcoming Craft Fairs in Hampshire. We will do it all again next year; but in the meantime, don’t forget the Spring Fair on Saturday 2nd March 2012!
