This week a small group from Fleet URC visited the Winchester Cathedral Festival of Flowers. The exhibition, entitled ‘Illumination’, was inspired by the magnificent Winchester Bible, and the whole of the Cathedral was filled with a spectacular array of stunning flower arrangements. Of particular interest was one entitled ‘Seasons’, which had been arranged by Fleet Flower Club.
Breaks for coffee and for lunch in the Cathedral refectory rounded off this wonderful day out.
