The Holy Spirit Aflame as Church: Plan B – Sing Hymns and Worship God

Sunday, 27th June – ‘The Holy Spirit Aflame as Church’, Plan B: Sing Hymns and Worship God

Welcome to our virtual weekly worship service with Fleet and Beacon Hill United Reformed Churches. This is our final online service with Fleet URC and Beacon Hill URC joining together to worship and we reflect on the wonderful times we have had as a fellowship worshipping God in such different & difficult times. With the example of Paul and Silas’s response to unexpected & difficult events in Philippi, Lay preacher Karen Smith concludes our focus on the Book of Acts. They too had to adopt Plan B: Sing Hymns & Worship God.

Thank you to Karen for leading our worship, to Alice Knight and Hugh Le Fanu for the readings, and to Maureen Coney for leading us in the responses.

All other credits are acknowledged on the Order of Service.

The audio service is accessed by dialling this number: 01252 978350. You will hear a recorded voice say, ‘Welcome. The Fleet and Beacon Hill United Reformed Church Service will play shortly’; and then there is quite a long pause before the service cuts in. (Please be patient as this can take a while.) The cost of the call is your normal charge for an 01252 phone call.
