Our latest Curry night held to raise funds for Palani Mission was exceptionally well supported, with over 80 guests enjoying Saju’s excellent cuisine. Many people said it was our ‘best ever’ curry evening.
Sheela Stephen, a member of our congregation who comes from Tamil Nadu herself, got our evening off to a good start with a prayer in her native Tamil.
A raffle of donated prizes was held for the first time, which proved very popular and contributed £276 to the grand total raised. The money will go to support the training of a community nurse and an engineer in Palani.
