Hundreds of Christmas Angels descended on the Catholic Church of Our Lady in King’s Road last night and they were a sight to behold. All shapes and sizes, knitted, crocheted, colourful, sparkly, each bearing their own special message for Christmas – more than 2,000 of them were spread out, waiting to be sent on their way.
Fr Johnpromise led the service for the Fleet Angels this year, with hymns, prayers and a special blessing for all who have made the angels and all those who will receive them. This year they will be donated to residents and staff in Care Homes throughout Fleet and Church Crookham.
