On Sunday 12th February 2012, baby Benjamin George Dale was brought for baptism by his parents Jenny and Chris. Benjamin is the younger brother of Isaac, and many of their family members and friends came along too. The baptism was conducted by Revd Jill Thornton.
Burns Night was celebrated in grand style and with great enthusiasm at our church this year, as always.
Some more photos from our popular Burns Night Supper, which this year was attended by our interim moderator, Revd Iain Stewart, and his wife. Our catering team provided the traditional meal of haggis, neeps and tatties, which was followed by dessert.
Our Burns Night celebration concluded with some energetic dancing under the direction of Liz McCune who, with her husband Colin, coordinated the evening.
Our Scratch Nativity, produced by Jill Worship and Grace Bagshaw, was very popular and great fun. It was greatly enjoyed by everyone, young and old.
Each week during Advent the children hung special decorations they had made on the Jesse tree. At our Christmas Day service, Revd Jill Thornton invited the children to add their final touches.
