On Saturday 3rd March we held a Spring Craft Fair which proved to be a successful sister to our regular Autumn Fair, with 26 different craft and gift stalls.
The Brownies were a joy – they were as busy as bees selling tickets for their Easter Egg Tombola; and the Spring Craft Section was always busy – and it wasn’t just the children making things!
There was a lot of new talent on show, as well as a few of our regulars, but this gave it a fresh feeling … like Spring!
The weather was our friend on the day, although when we first opened it was raining, and the forecast had not been good. Even snow was predicted! But whatever the weather outside, inside was sunny and warm, with the usual teamwork and friendship that always surrounds events like these.
I would like to thank all who attended as exhibitors, the volunteers, and the visitors who helped support the event – a BIG ‘Thank you’ to you all!!
